At the end of September 2023 I took a trip to Palermo, whilst on this trip I learned that Sicily is being plagued by wildfires.
One night the sky was glowing red, the night sky and its clouds lit by flames. It was quite a sight, really odd to see.
It’s a strange one really, so hypnotic, there’s a beauty in this that belies the devastating impact of these fires.
